Asia Society Philippines will host its premier culinary diplomacy festival, Asian Eats 2026, at the Grand Atrium in Shangri-La Plaza from August 7 to 9, 2026.
For three days, the venue will transform into a dynamic cultural hub, bringing diplomatic missions, cultural institutions, local businesses, and food enthusiasts together under one roof.
Visitors can look forward to an immersive celebration of Asia’s rich heritage. Featuring authentic culinary showcases, live cultural performances. And interactive activities designed to share the region’s diverse flavors and traditions with local enthusiasts and global citizens alike.
Highlighting the ASEAN shared heritage
In special recognition of the Philippines hosting the ASEAN Summit, the 2026 edition features an exclusive ASEAN Showcase as one of its primary highlights. While attendees can explore authentic culinary offerings from across the entire Asian continent, the festival places a deliberate spotlight on Southeast Asia.
Consequently, this showcase celebrates ASEAN’s shared heritage alongside the distinct culinary identities of each member nation. Through the universal languages of food and culture, the ASEAN Showcase actively reinforces regional cooperation, enhances people-to-people connectivity. And highlights the enduring ties that unite the region.
Culinary Masterclasses and Cultural Showcases
Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to sample authentic dishes and specialty products presented by participating embassies and their partner merchants. Including Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Furthermore, a central attraction of the festival is a series of live cooking demonstrations hosted by renowned chefs and culinary partners.
Attendees can look forward to masterclasses led by Chef LV Wei of the Embassy of China. The Indian Women in Enterprise, Coco Mama, Kikkoman featuring Chef Bruce Lim, and NutriAsia featuring Chef Gerick Manalo. With each session highlighting unique traditions, techniques, and regional flavors.
Additionally, participating embassies will present live cultural performances celebrating their respective countries’ music, dance, and artistic heritage throughout the three days.
