COOKING NOTES:
- Boiling the eggs in 6 minutes and ice bathing it after helps the egg to stop the cooking process.
- Adding ice cold water to the meatballs helps the meat have a better texture making it juicy and tender.
- When boiling or cooking the meatballs, use the same broth or make it the base for Jok Moo.
- To make it easy for you to break the rice use an immersion blender.
- For the garnish, you can customize it like a Filipino version such as calamansi and ground pepper.
Rich, cozy, and surprisingly effortless, Jok Moo is the ultimate remedy for simple, soul-warming comfort. Finish it off with a squeeze of calamansi and a pinch of ground black pepper for a familiar Filipino touch. It’s a delicious crossover meal that will feel right at home at your family table!
