No Filipino feast or Sunday family gathering feels completely whole without a saucy ulam that strikes that irresistible balance of rich, velvety creaminess and deep, savory goodness. From birthdays to casual weekend lunches, the Filipino love language has always been spoken through rich sauces meant to be generously poured over heaps of warm, steaming white rice.
This Simpol Pininyahang Manok captures that exact comfort. Blending the bright, tangy sweetness of pineapples with the luscious richness of Nestlé All-Purpose Cream and the savory depth of MAGGI Magic Sarap. It is a classic, crowd-pleasing dish that turns everyday dining into a special celebration.

- 1 pc Potato, cut into quarters
Set B : Marinating
- 300 g Chicken breast, cut into cubes
- 4 tbsp Magic Savor Calamansi

Set C : Sauteing
- ½ cup Onion, minced
- 2 tbsp Garlic, minced
- Marinated Chicken (from Set B)
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 tbsp Maggi Magic Sarap
Set D : Simmering
- ½ cup Red Bell Pepper, chopped
- ½ cup Green Bell Pepper, chopped
- ¼ cup Nestlé All Purpose Cream
- 1 pc Green Chili, chopped
- 1 can Pineapple Chunks
- 1 tbsp Fish Sauce
- Black Pepper, to taste
Procedure
Set A:
Heat the pan over medium heat, add oil and fry carrots and potatoes until golden.
Set B:
In a clean bowl marinate the chicken in maggi savor calamansi for 20-30 minutes.
Set C:
On the same pan, add onion, garlic, marinated chicken, vinegar, pine apple juice and maggi magic sarap. Saute, mix and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes.
Set D:
Gently add the nestle all purpose cream, bell peppers, season with black pepper and fish sauce. Mix well then add the green chili, pineapple chunks let it cook for another 2-5 minutes then turn off the heat.

COOKING NOTES:
- Pineapple juice contains natural enzymes that tenderize the chicken while adding sweetness, so you usually do not need extra sugar.
- Adding fish sauce balances the sweet taste and brings out the savory flavor, preventing the dish from tasting too sugary.
- Pour in the all purpose cream last and use only low heat, because high heat will make the sauce separate or curdle.
- Cook hard vegetables first and add softer ones plus pineapple at the end to keep them firm and colorful.
- Lightly browning the chicken before adding liquid seals in juices and gives the sauce a deeper, richer taste.
This dish can be served as the centerpiece for a festive family gathering or enjoyed as a comforting treat after a long day. Delivering pure nostalgia and flavor in every bite.
Through Simpol Kitchen, you can ladle that rich and creamy sauce with the familiar comforting taste of home, whenever and wherever you want!
