Turning 31 calls for a celebration. For Enchanted Kingdom, it is also a chance to highlight Filipino biodiversity.
This October, the theme park is expanding AGILA The EKsperience: SARIBUHAY. The attraction will feature new pre- and post-show experiences. These will introduce guests to the Philippines’ rich biodiversity and the importance of protecting it.
At the heart of the enhanced attraction is Kwento ng Agila. This immersive walkthrough takes guests behind the scenes of AGILA.
It explores the attraction’s inspiration and architecture. It also tells the story of how an all-Filipino team brought it to life.
Guests can learn more about the Philippine eagle along the way. The experience explores its natural habitat and the species within its ecosystem. It also traces the bird’s lifecycle and its fight for survival.
The Philippine eagle is one of the world’s critically endangered birds.
The experience also highlights EK’s conservation efforts. These include its partnership with the Philippine Eagle Foundation. EK also supports the care and breeding of Enchanting Kagitingan, a male Philippine eagle.
Bringing the Forest to Life
The experience does not end at the main walkthrough.
Augmented reality will also be part of the attraction. Guests can use their smartphones to bring the landing queue to life. The queue leads to the Enchanted Forest.
Meanwhile, PUGAD, AGILA’s in-house concept store, has received a new look. The refreshed space combines entertainment with learning. It also extends the attraction’s focus on Philippine biodiversity.
The updated areas will officially launch on October 17. Existing facilities will remain open to guests.
AGILA was reimagined in 2025. The new direction placed greater focus on sustainability and the country’s natural heritage.
Earlier this year, the attraction received another recognition. It was named Best ASEAN New Tourism Attraction by the ASEAN Tourism Association.
A Night of Filipino Music
The anniversary celebration will reach its peak on October 17.
The Fiesta ng Saribuhay Concert will take place at the Spaceport Grounds. The event will feature Filipino artists from different parts of the music scene.
The lineup includes R&B hitmaker Dionela and P-pop girl group XONARA. Indie band Sacred Red will also take the stage.
EK’s homegrown talents SMS and Kingsmen will join the celebration as well.
The night will end with Lipad ng Agila: A Pyromusical Fiesta. The show will combine fireworks with imagery inspired by the anniversary theme.
More Ways to Celebrate
The celebration continues throughout October.
The EK Storyverse Characters will appear every weekend. They will join the Fiesta ng Saribuhay Anniversary Parade across the park’s themed zones.
On October 11, guests can join Run to 31: Takbo ng Saribuhay. The fun run celebrates biodiversity through fitness and togetherness.
The park will also host the Ube-Matcha Festival from October 14 to 18. Guests can enjoy creative combinations of local flavors and other favorites.
Meanwhile, Palarong Pinoy will bring traditional Filipino street games to the park.
With music, food, entertainment, and stories of biodiversity, EK’s 31st anniversary offers more ways to celebrate Filipino culture and nature.
