A Flavorful Launch in the Heart of Manila

The campaign was officially unveiled during a media launch held at Hotel Lucky Chinatown on July 6, 2026, which was attended by members of the travel and lifestyle media alongside local content creators. 

Following the formal launch, guests embarked on a curated Binondo Food Crawl. This interactive experience showcased Manila’s vibrant culinary heritage, effectively demonstrating how meaningful travel experiences can begin right within one’s own city.

The launch of the TARA! campaign comes at a pivotal time, as domestic tourism continues to demonstrate remarkable resilience in powering the national travel industry.

Aligning with National Tourism Goals

Newly appointed Undersecretary Stanley Ng of the Department of Tourism graced the event to recognize MHR’s initiative. He highlighted how deeply aligned the campaign is with the department’s own “Discover More to Love” initiative, which encourages Filipinos to experience more of what Philippine destinations have to offer.

This campaign reflects our shared belief with the Department of Tourism that domestic tourism remains one of the strongest drivers of a resilient and sustainable tourism industry,” said Cleofe Albiso, Managing Director of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts.

TARA! serves as a timely reminder for local travelers that there is always more to discover, more to experience, and indeed, more to love right at home in the Philippines.
