Tote for thoughts.

Every stitch tells a story of hope.

Setting their major sustainability drive, Eurotel upcycles old hotel blanket sheets into eco-friendly tote bags. All of the sales proceeds on supporting children with disabilities and their families.

Eurotel Hotel is in for a meaningful release by turning a simple, everyday idea into a powerful community mission. On June 4, 2026, they officially launched the Eurotel x KPAO Upcycled Tote Bag Project at the Eurotel North EDSA.

Regenerative Hospitality

In partnership with the Quezon City Kabahagi Parent Advocates Organization (KPAO), this initiative extends new life into retired hotel linen blankets by transforming them into limited-edition, eco-friendly tote bags.

Not only does this creative upcycling keep usable materials completely out of landfills, but every single peso of the proceeds goes directly toward supporting children with disabilities and their families. Ultimately, this project perfectly encapsulates Eurotel’s core vision to Smart, Safe, and Green Hospitality. Serving as a big step forward in their regenerative hospitality efforts by seamlessly curating sustainability, inclusion, and true community empowerment.

Community’s Compassion and Resilience

The launch turned out to be an incredible, community-driven event that drew massive support from both the media and key government agencies like the MMDA, DOTr, the Philippine Coast Guard, and local government units.

Ultimately, having them there really amplified the message and brought well-deserved attention to the needs of children with disabilities and their families.

To make the afternoon even more special, actress and longtime advocate Ara Mina shared a heartfelt message about compassion and resilience that deeply resonated with everyone in attendance.

In addition to her, a wonderful lineup of notable guests showed up to show their support. Including Karen S. Sagun from the Quezon City Kabahagi Center, Col. Edison “Bong” Nebrija of the MMDA, Patrick Larraga from Bell-Kenz Pharma, and Anna Leah Poteet Morales from SAICT.

Passionate Advocates and Purposeful Partnerships

Behind the scenes, this impactful initiative was driven by the dedicated leadership of KPAO.

Specifically Chairman Jho Peñaflor, President Sarah Tupaz, and Vice-President Cecilia Millang. Thanks to their hard work, alongside vital support from sponsors like Gardenia and Bell-Kenz Pharma, they’ve managed to build a partnership completely rooted in dignity and empowerment. As Christian Bona, Eurotel’s Corporate Marketing Head, beautifully put it, true hospitality goes way beyond just offering great accommodations.

It’s about creating a lasting, positive impact on the community.

To join the movement, you can grab your own limited-edition Eurotel x KPAO Tote Bag at participating branches nationwide. The following branch follows: North EDSA, Vivaldi, Pedro Gil, Makati, Las Piñas, Angeles, and Boracay.

Best of all, every single purchase does double duty. You get a punctual, yet stylish accessory. 100% of the proceeds go straight into KPAO’s programs to help Filipino children with disabilities.

Eurotel and KPAO are proving that when business and advocacy merges together, we are able to protect the planet while building a community where absolutely everyone feels valued.
