Nomikashi, a Japanese-inspired soda shop, is marking the weeks after its first anniversary with a limited-time offer at its SM Novaliches and Robinsons Metro East branches. Customers who purchase any two 650ml drinks will receive a free thermal bag, while supplies last.

The brand, known for its selection of fizzy, flavored sodas, launched in 2024 and has since expanded to two locations in Metro Manila. Its menu features a variety of sparkling drinks influenced by a visit to a Japanese soda shop, including flavors like Berry Lit, Sweet Calamansi, Butter Toffee, Sakura Rose, and Watermelon.

In addition to its soda offerings, Nomikashi serves hot and cold brewed coffee and taiyaki — a traditional Japanese fish-shaped snack filled with chocolate, ube, or red bean paste. The stores have drawn a steady following for their casual atmosphere and accessible product lineup.

Over the past year, Nomikashi has also engaged in community outreach, launching a Christmas gift-giving initiative and securing its Intellectual Property Rights to establish itself as a Filipino-owned business with Japanese influences.

“We’ve seen a lot of support from the local community in our first year,” said Demer Abejay, Vice President for Operations. “This promotion is just a simple way to say thank you.”

Nomikashi plans to expand its presence further, with new locations and menu items currently in development.
