A decade of celebrations calls for something distinctly its own. For its 10th anniversary, Conrad Manila is raising a glass to the Philippines with ORKIDÉA, a limited-edition signature craft gin created exclusively for the hotel.
Available at C Lounge beginning September 25, 2026, the bespoke spirit draws inspiration from the Philippine orchid. At the same time, it brings together locally sourced botanicals from different parts of the country.
A Taste of the Philippines
ORKIDÉA was distilled in partnership with Full Circle Craft Distillers Co. Inc. in Calamba, Laguna, using ingredients sourced from across the Philippines.
For instance, calamansi from Pangasinan brings a bright citrus note, while pandan from Laguna and sampaguita from Antipolo add familiar Filipino aromas. Meanwhile, lemongrass from Cavite and Benguet pine from Sagada contribute additional layers. Together, these ingredients create a spirit that balances delicate floral notes with a more complex, contemporary character.
The result is a gin that feels rooted in place—one that brings together ingredients from different landscapes in a single bottle.
“Marking our 10th anniversary gave us an opportunity to create something that is distinctly Conrad Manila and deeply connected to the Philippines,” said Rupert Hallam, general manager of Conrad Manila. “ORKIDÉA brings together local ingredients, craftsmanship, and creativity in a way that feels both celebratory and personal.”
From Bottle to Cocktail
For those who want to experience ORKIDÉA before taking a bottle home, C Lounge has created a collection of 10th anniversary cocktails featuring the gin.
Its botanical profile gives the drinks added depth and a distinctly local character, while allowing the spirit to work across both familiar gin cocktails and more creative serves.
The launch also featured a special bar takeover by Alvin Lee of The Old Man Hong Kong, one of Asia’s recognized cocktail destinations. His guest shift explored ORKIDÉA through a series of cocktails, highlighting the spirit’s versatility and giving classic serves a Philippine-inspired touch.
A Keepsake of the Milestone
ORKIDÉA is available in two bottle sizes: a 200ml bottle priced at ₱3,100 nett and a 700ml bottle priced at ₱8,500 nett.
More than a new addition to the bar, the gin marks a milestone for Conrad Manila—bringing together local ingredients, Filipino craftsmanship, and the hotel’s decade-long story in one carefully made spirit.
