Parols light up our homes, and familiar treats fill the table. Gatherings call for something special to wear. Across these moments, we share a deep appreciation for an undeniably Filipino Christmas. Recently, Kultura kicked off Paskong Kumukutikutitap to celebrate this exact spirit. They proudly launched Kultura Atelier at SM Makati, ushering in an exciting era of modern Filipino luxury.
The New Filipino Luxury
Step inside the newly expanded store, and you will immediately notice the cascading parols. Here, artisanal craft meets elevated design. Furthermore, the space showcases stunning collections created in close partnership with local designers.
Last October 22, Kultura brought this space to life through an engaging launch event. Hosted by Issa Litton, the Designers’ Conversations allowed talented creatives to share their personal stories. Meanwhile, models walked the aisles to showcase these beautiful new collections.
Tradition Meets Modern Elegance
The runway pieces stayed deeply anchored in our rich heritage. Designers utilized classic materials like piña silk alongside traditional silhouettes like the barong and mestiza tops. However, these styles evolved wonderfully for today’s modern Filipina and gentleman. Ultimately, the show concluded with a vibrant final tableau. Models and designers gathered together for a snapshot that perfectly captured the dedication behind Kultura Atelier.
An Immersive Celebration of Craft
Beyond the runway, the festivities offered a fully immersive experience. Guests explored a unique perfume bar by Tadhana Fragrance.

Afterward, visitors checked out personalization booths by Bags in the City and custom jewelry from Nazrea Pearls.

To top it all off, everyone enjoyed delicious local treats. Manam served traditional bibingka and puto bumbong, while Sarsa Cafe poured refreshing drinks.

Additionally, Destileria Limtuaco crafted cocktails using local ingredients, all set to the wonderful music of DJ Noemi Kanomi.
