What started as a humble “pandemic baby” selling home-cooked food tubs quickly eloped into a full-fledged restaurant. If you are looking for a cozy chill spot around Kapitolyo, Gianetto should definitely be on your radar.

Founded by Jackie Isanan and Lesly Ngo, the couple originally started by cooking for neighbors in their condo before expanding to brick-oven pizzas and homemade Italian classics. Fast forward to this October, and they just celebrated a major milestone—their very first Media Launch at their Capitol Commons branch.
Good Food, Good Company
Right as you walk in, an artfully arranged charcuterie table greets you, handcrafted by Chef Jackie herself.

After settling down with refreshing, ice-cold lemon drinks, the feast officially began. Surrounded by warm, energetic media friends, the room was immediately filled with lively conversation and excitement over every dish placed on the table.
Merry Pizzeria
First up was the pizza lineup, starting with Beer Buddies—a Hawaiian-inspired pie loaded with mozzarella, cheddar, artichokes, and jalapenos, served alongside a sweet and spicy chili honey drizzle.

Next came Eats Me Spinach with Bacon, an absolute favorite featuring a rich blend of white sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and cream cheese. The smoky bacon added a perfectly savory crunch, and Miss Lesly even mentioned they hope to jar and sell that creamy spinach paste in the future!

To cap off the pizzas, La Festa Tropicale brought true holiday cheer to the table. This seasonal exclusive features savory Christmas ham coated in a luscious soy-honey glaze, creating a vibrant visual that tastes just as festive as it looks.
Creamery Goodness Line-Up
Moving on to the pasta and mains, the kitchen kept the impressive dishes coming.

The Sausage and Cherry Tomato Rigatoni delivered al dente pasta tossed with juicy Italian sausage and sweet cherry tomatoes in a vodka cream sauce. Meanwhile, the Creamy Aligue Linguine stole the spotlight as an instant crowd favorite—surprisingly velvety and packed with rich crab fat and shrimp flavor without any heavy fishiness.

Then came the star of the afternoon: a generous 500-gram USDA Prime Rib-Eye Steak. Cooked to tender perfection, it arrived with seven distinct sides—including creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, and French beans with mushrooms—plus three specialty salts and garlic condiments. For seafood lovers, the Halibut Lime in Coconut Milk offered a lighter touch, featuring delicate, flaky fish bathed in a silky coconut sauce with fresh cherry tomatoes and a bright splash of lime.
Sweet Footnote
To end on a sweet note, we indulged in their signature Il Grande Tiramisu. Layered with pillowy cream and rich chocolate fudge, it pairs effortlessly with a hot shot of espresso. It comes in a large size complete with its own server, as well as a convenient tub size that packs the exact same melt-in-your-mouth magic.

Ultimately, Gianetto’s holiday media launch was more than just a meal—it was a heartfelt celebration of growth, passion, and great food. From their humble condo kitchen beginnings to a festive feast at Capitol Commons, Jackie and Lesly have created a dining experience that feels just like coming home for Christmas.
