OPM Rock hits the city!
City of Dreams Manila is bringing another legendary night to its monthly Concert Series. This time, Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda is taking the stage.
Vibe For The Night
First, mark your calendars for August 19, 2026, at 9:30 p.m. On this night, Chito Miranda and friends will perform live at CenterPlay for a special one-night show. Ticket prices start at ₱3,500 per person. Moreover, each ticket includes consumable food and drinks, such as burgers, fries, bar snacks, and cocktails. Groups can also book VIP couch seating for four or eight guests.
Meanwhile, the music starts long before the main event. Resident bands Rhythm Nation, Highschool Playlist, and Dawn of Eve will rotate on stage from 6:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. to keep the party going all night.

Next, let’s look at the artist behind the hype. Chito’s rise to fame began in the 1990s at Manila’s famous Club Dredd.
During that time, Parokya ni Edgar quickly gained massive popularity. Local media eventually named them “The National Band of the Philippines.” Over the years, the group has sold over 600,000 albums across the country. In fact, their debut album Khangkhungkherrnitz (1996) and follow-up album Buruguduystunstugudunstuy (1997) both achieved triple platinum status. Furthermore, they produced iconic hits like “Buloy,” “Harana,” “Halaga,” and “Silvertoes.”
As a result of their huge impact, the band earned an MTV Southeast Asian Music Video Award and a star on the Eastwood City Walk of Fame.
