Back and fresh is IVOS with their new reggae single “Rollercoaster”.
This upbeat track dives straight into the joy of living in the moment. A track that encourages listeners to let go of control and enjoy life as it comes. Life is full of unexpected turns, and this song celebrates every single one of them.
Riding High on the Momentum
To begin with, the timing of this new single could not be better.
The band is currently riding a massive wave of success. They recently dominated the 2026 Awit Awards by taking home both Album of the Year and Song of the Year. In addition to that, they secured Alternative Song of the Year at the Filipino Music Awards.
Meanwhile, IV OF SPADES is actively connecting with international fans on their US and Canada tour. This tour follows another impressive milestone from earlier in the year. Last month, they dropped “Isang Pag-ibig,” a track originally posted on SoundCloud back in 2015. The revisited 2026 re-release became an instant hit. In fact, it quickly racked up over three million streams across combined platforms. It even peaked at No. 18 on YouTube Music’s Trending Music charts. Naturally, this incredible momentum set the perfect stage for “Rollercoaster.”
Reggae And Energetic Rock!
It can’t be more IVOS than this. With the sound itself, “Rollercoaster” brings something truly special to the table. The track showcases a colorful palette of sonic influences. Instead of following standard pop formulas, the band decided to mix things up. They combined the steady pulse of reggae with energetic indie rock. At the same time, they infused classic Manila Sound sensibilities into the mix.
Furthermore, the song carries a smooth, psychedelic edge that feels both inventive and nostalgic. It remains deeply true to the creative spirit that fans have always loved about the group. The end result is a buoyant, groove-forward track. It feels delightfully carefree and laid-back. Yet, it still sparkles with an infectious summertime energy that catches your attention right away.
Spontaneity and the Thrill of Letting Go
Beyond the catchy beats, the song paints a vivid picture of absolute freedom. Listening to “Rollercoaster” instantly feels like heading out on an open-road trip. Picture yourself driving down the highway with the windows rolled down. The music is turned up loud, and you have nowhere in particular to be.
As a result, this easygoing track creates the perfect backdrop for spontaneous moments. It naturally fits late-night gatherings with close friends. Above all, the music embraces core themes of movement, joy, and the pure thrill of letting go.
Ultimately, “Rollercoaster” is a powerful reminder to surrender to the present moment. The single is available now on all major digital music platforms worldwide through Sony Music Entertainment. Turn it on, crank up the volume, and enjoy the journey.
