Simpol Cooking Notes:
- Adding flour to ground pork helps bind also known as Build- in sauce thickeners that become fond.
- Peanut butter can be used as a natural thickener, making sauces creamier while adding a rich, nutty flavor.
- Scraping the browned bits (fond) from the bottom of the pan adds depth and richness to the dish, as these caramelized bits are packed with flavor.
- A few drops of soy sauce can naturally enhance the color of almost any dish, giving it a richer, more appetizing appearance.
- Cooking vegetables separately helps prevent them from overcooking, keeps their texture and color, and can help extend the dish’s shelf life by reducing the chance of spoilage.
