At the crossroads of global pageantry and modern femininity, the first-ever MGI All Stars opened a new chapter for returning beauty queens.
It invited them to reclaim and reinvent their stories on a worldwide stage.
The Reclamation of The Inaugural Crown
Staged in Bangkok, Thailand, on May 30, 2026, this Miss Grand International spin-off gathered 56 contenders from across the globe. More than a contest, it became a vibrant reunion celebrating experience, transformation, and reinvention.
Colombia’s Vanessa Pulgarin Monsalve stood at the core of it all. Her path echoes the rhythm of modern pageantry, where identity is shaped over time and across different stages.
By claiming the inaugural crown, she rose above a diverse field. She perfectly represented the spirit of MGI All Stars: resilience brought to life. Yet, her story extends well beyond a single crown.
Who is this Diva?
Born in Medellín, Colombia, on September 13, 1991, Pulgarín was raised by her parents, Carlos Pulgarín and Dalila Monsalve Jiménez.

Her passion for modeling and communications began early. She later studied Social Communication and Journalism at the Pontifical Bolivarian University. She also spent years in Sydney, Australia, expanding her perspective and building her modeling portfolio through runway and editorial work.
Pulgarín’s pageant career spans some of the world’s most recognized stages. After winning Miss Antioquia in 2016, she became the first runner-up at Miss Colombia 2017. She then represented her country at Miss International 2017, gaining her first taste of the international circuit.
The Catwalk Life of Pulgarin
In 2025, she returned to the spotlight. She won Miss Universe Colombia 2025 and later reached the Top 12 at Miss Universe 2025.
By 2026, her journey came full circle. She not only joined but won the inaugural MGI All Stars.

This victory highlighted her persistence and the changing world of pageantry. Today, the industry values ongoing presence and an authentic voice over single moments. In this light, her Bangkok victory is not a finale, but a new chapter of visibility and artistry.
The debut of MGI All Stars did more than launch a new pageant; it redefined how we view success in the industry.
Women Returning and Reshaping
As a spin-off of Miss Grand International, the event was founded on a bold idea: pageantry does not end with a single final walk. It transforms and grows.

The first edition united 56 returning titleholders. Each contestant brought years of preparation, public presence, and personal evolution back to the spotlight. Unlike traditional contests that focus only on newcomers, this edition celebrated resilience and sustained influence. The stage became a place for unfinished stories to unfold.
When Pulgarín stepped back onto the stage, she personified this vision. She showed that women can return not to revisit their past, but to reshape it. Her victory symbolized a new era where experience is the ultimate mark of distinction.
The inaugural MGI All Stars stands as a landmark in pageant history. It proves that continuity matters more than closure, and that true success is an ongoing adventure.
