For the first time, ABS-CBN’s annual celebrity sports spectacle welcomes artists from Thailand’s entertainment giant GMMTV. Preparing the ground for a highly anticipated Philippines-versus-Thailand basketball showdown. More than an exhibition game, the crossover celebrates two of Southeast Asia’s biggest entertainment industries, bringing together actors who command millions of fans on screen and now on the hardwood.
Team Star Magic Roster consists of Argel Saycon, Ashton Salvador, Elyson De Dios, Emilio Daez, Gerald Anderson, Jeremiah Lisbo, JM Ibarra, River Joseph, Ronnie Alonte, Tristan Ramirez, and Young JV. Much of the online excitement centers on the arrival of the Thai contingent. Their international fanbase grows through hit dramas, concerts, and fan meetings across Asia.

Aston
One of GMMTV’s brightest young talents, Aston Ratiphat Luengvoraphan, made his screen debut in Boys in Love and continues his rise with the upcoming coming-of-age series 17th Spring. At 20, Aston has attracted attention for his natural appeal and promising on-screen presence. Off camera, he brings that youthful energy to the basketball court as one of Team GMMTV’s youngest players.
Gawin
Thai-American actor and singer Gawin Caskey first gained recognition in Dark Blue Kiss (2019) before winning international audiences over with Not Me (2021–2022). Since then, he has elevated his career with leading roles in Be My Favorite (2023), My Golden Blood (2025), and Only Friends: Dream On (2026).
Equally noted for his music, Caskey has earned the nickname “The Voice of GMMTV”. For his string of beloved original soundtracks and standout cover performances. His duet “Ever After” with co-star Joss Way-ar Sangngern won Original Soundtrack of the Year in 2025. In 2026, Gaskey entered a new phase as a recording artist by joining Riser Music. Making his label debut with the single “(Gone Away).”
Fluent in both Thai and English, Gawin brings effortless charisma whether performing on screen, on stage, or on the basketball court. Where his competitive attitude and easygoing personality have made him a fan favorite during Team GMMTV’s celebrity exhibition games.
Joss Way-ar
Way-ar Sangngern, better known as Joss, seamlessly balances a successful acting career with an active sporting lifestyle. He rose to prominence through standout roles in 3 Will Be Free (2019), Nabi, My Stepdarling (2021), My Golden Blood (2025), and Only Friends: Dream On (2026).
Off-screen, Way-ar is known for his love of sports. A passionate basketball player, he regularly takes part in celebrity games and maintains a rigorous fitness regimen. His athleticism also translated to boxing. Where he won the celebrity competition 10 Fight 10 in 2022. In 2025, his effort earned him the title of Under Armour Thailand Brand Ambassador. Reinforcing his position as one of Thailand’s fittest and most versatile stars.
Marc
Marc Natarit Worakornlertsith, formerly Pahun Jiyacharoen, is a Thai actor who has steadily built his career since debuting in Friend Zone: The Series (2018). He landed his first leading role in My Gear and Your Gown (2020). Showcasing his flexibility and screen presence, and continues to expand his television projects. Currently studying Acting and Film Directing, Worakornlertsith balances academic training with a flourishing acting career.
Neo
Before becoming a fan favorite through Fish Upon the Sky (2021), The Eclipse (2022), and Only Friends (2023), Trai Nimtawat, known as Neo, made his mark on the basketball court. A former member of Thailand’s national youth basketball team. He helped the country win bronze at the 2018 ASEAN School Games. Today, Neo brings the discipline, athleticism, and competitive energy from his sporting career to his screen performances.
Ping
Krittanun Aunchananun, better known as Ping, is steadily building a reputation through charismatic performances and natural screen presence. He at first captured audiences as the lead in Ai Long Nhai (2022). Then expanded his résumé with My Dear Gangster Oppa (2023) and the sports drama The Rebound (2024). In 2025, he joined GMMTV, marking a new phase in his career, and continued his momentum with the 2026 series Match Point. He is pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Kitchen Management and Culinary Arts. With a growing fanbase and an increasingly diverse body of work. He is fast establishing himself as one of GMMTV’s most promising young stars.
Ryu
Phudtripart Bhudthonamochai, known as Ryu, is attracting attention through his charismatic screen presence and flexible performances. He made his mark in Summer Night (2024) before expanding his résumé with Ossan’s Love Thailand and That Summer (2025), followed by A Dog and a Plane (2026). With a growing fanbase and range of roles, Ryu continues to establish himself as one of Thailand’s promising young actors.
Teshow
Teshow Promsakha na Sakonnakhon is one of GMMTV’s newest rising talents, grabbing attention with his commanding presence and fresh-faced appeal. Set to make a major impression in the coming-of-age romance. Match Point opposite Ping Krittanun, he also gained early attention through The Dark Dice, establishing himself as an emerging newcomer to watch.
