Breaking the digital charts — and physical. P-Pop powerhouse SB19 has officially transformed one of their most ambitious musical chapters into a physical collector’s item with the release of the Wakas at Simula Global CD Version.
The overwhelming response from A’TIN resulted in the initial pre-order batch selling out completely, leading Backspacer Records and Sony Music Entertainment to quickly open a second pre-order window.
This release marks a significant milestone for the group, offering fans across the globe a tangible keepsake of their artistic journey.
A Step Into “Ikalawang Yugto” Era
As SB19 continues to expand their international footprint—headlining major music festivals, topping global charts, collaborating with international talent, and earning feature coverage in top publications—this debut physical release bridges the distance with their worldwide fanbase.
The album allows fans across continents to step beyond digital streaming and hold a lasting piece of the group’s “Ikalawang Yugto” era.
Reflecting on what this physical release means for their global community, Pablo shared:
For us, the Global CD Version represents a way to stay connected with A’TIN around the world and remind them that no matter where they are, they will always have a piece of home with them. We want them to know that SB19 will continue to be by their side through the best moments of their lives and even during the challenging times.”
Justin also expressed his gratitude for how the band and their supporters have grown side by side over the years:
Since this is our first-ever CD release, it feels meaningful to share Wakas at Simula in a way that goes beyond just listening to the music. We’re grateful that our community can now experience the album in a more personal and lasting way and have something that they can cherish over time.”
Deepening the Connection with A’TIN
This physical edition is designed to be more than just standard merchandise; it serves as a shared memory between SB19 and their listeners.
The members were actively involved in every phase of the project’s visual presentation and packaging to make sure it genuinely reflected their world.
Explaining why creating a tangible connection with fans is so essential, Josh stated:
It’s important for us to share these pieces because we wouldn’t be here without A’TIN, and they are an important part of this journey. Through our music, we are able to tell our stories, but our fans are also part of the story we continue to create.”
By sharing actual fragments, elements, and objects from the Wakas at Simula universe, the boys wanted to give A’TINs something tangible that represents their connection to the album and allows them to feel like they are part of its history.
Ken further highlighted the hands-on creative effort behind the overall design:
More than just creating a physical album, we wanted it to feel like a meaningful collectible that fans can connect with and truly enjoy.”
The Inclus Preview!
Designed as a complete narrative and listening experience, the physical album includes all 24 tracks spread across two discs.

Each package comes in a premium tri-fold sleeve equipped with a built-in NFC tag for instant online streaming access, two exclusive photo prints, a 52-page full-color lyric booklet, and a random photocard out of five collectible versions.

For added excitement, 100 randomly selected copies contain a real fragment from the actual Wakas at Simula album. A limited number of on-hand copies are available at Backspacer Records alongside the second pre-order batch.
Stell explained how these physical details enrich the overall storytelling:
These physical elements give fans a more profound way to connect with the album by allowing them to revisit the lyrics, explore the details, and experience the journey we wanted to share in a more personal way.”
The swift sellout of the Wakas at Simula Global CD Version highlights the remarkable bond between SB19 and A’TIN.
By ingraining their music into a physical media, SB19 has provided fans with a meaningful piece of their ongoing legacy that will be treasured for years to come.
