Renowned entertainment journalist Gilbert Kim Sancha has joined the top integrated media community, Simpol.ph, as the new editor of Binge section, the platform’s entertainment stage published every Wednesday.
As the new entertainment editor, Kim will oversee high-quality entertainment content covering film, television, theater, music and pop culture. Kim also serves as chief critic and host, offering insightful reviews and expert commentary on stage productions and live performances.
Kim also continues to work as a multimedia journalist and host, reporting on lifestyle, entertainment, the arts, pageants and fashion. Kim’s work includes interviews with industry leaders, in-depth cultural analysis and coverage of major entertainment events.
Kim holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Far Eastern University and is currently studying Spanish at Instituto Cervantes de Manila. Fluent in Filipino, English and Spanish, he connects with diverse audiences and brings a global perspective to his reporting.
Kim has worked behind the scenes on numerous theatrical productions and live events. A passionate supporter of the arts, he regularly attends plays, musicals, operas and fashion shows, continually immersing himself in the creative world.
