For many Filipinos, Korea starts as a travel dream. Maybe it’s a first visit you’ve been saving for, or a return trip to explore more of a country you already love.
This October, that dream gets a little closer at Tara sa Korea!, happening on October 3–4 at the SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall.
From Dreaming to Planning

Going to Korea comes with plenty of questions. How do you apply for a visa? How much should you budget? Which flights and travel packages fit your plans? Tara sa Korea! brings these travel essentials together through three experience zones: PREPARE, DEPART, and ARRIVE.
In the PREPARE zone, visitors can learn about the Korean visa application process with the Korea Visa Application Center (KVAC). BDO will also offer financial guidance, travel-related advice, and exclusive offers, including cashback and a Fly Now, Pay Later facility with 0% installments for up to three months at participating travel partners.
Find Your Way to Korea

Once the preparations are covered, it’s time to figure out how you want to travel.
The DEPART zone brings together participating airlines and travel agencies, giving visitors a chance to explore travel products and packages. Whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, as a couple, or with family, you can look for options that suit your budget and travel style.
And Korea has plenty to offer beyond the usual itinerary. Every trip can mean a different destination, season, dish, or experience.
A Taste of Korea Before You Go
The journey also continues in the ARRIVE zone, where visitors can get a preview of what awaits them in Korea.
Guests can grab Korean snacks at the K-Food Truck, discover beauty products from Kolmar Healthcare Philippines, and try traditional DIY crafts presented by the Korean Cultural Center. The crafts can even serve as a keepsake from the event.
Stories From Korea
The event will also feature celebrity guests sharing their personal Korea experiences.
On Day 1, actress Francine Diaz will perform and talk about her recent experiences in Korea, including memories from her project Kumusta.
On Day 2, Melai Cantiveros Francisco, Honorary Ambassador for Korea Family Tourism in the Philippines, will share stories from her recent trips, family experiences, and travel tips.
Whether it’s your first Korea trip or your next one, Tara sa Korea! offers a chance to start planning, discover new possibilities, and turn “Gusto kong pumunta sa Korea” into “Tara, Korea na!”
