Pag-IBIG Fund is having a stellar year.

In fact, it shows how smart money management and public service can go hand-in-hand. During the first half of 2026, the agency posted record-breaking results. As a result, this strong performance boosts the fund’s financial health and directly benefits millions of members saving for their dream homes.

Record-Breaking Earnings and Accessible Home Loans

To start, Pag-IBIG’s net income jumped an impressive 24% year-on-year to hit a record ₱41.35 billion in the first six months of 2026. Interestingly, this milestone happened even while the agency lowered interest rates on housing loans. At the same time, it raised the maximum loan cap to ₱10 million.

Steady earnings from housing and short-term loans drove this growth, alongside higher investment yields and tight cost control. Consequently, the fund continues to play a vital role in President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s Expanded 4PH Program. DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling noted that this momentum helps more families buy homes while keeping workers’ savings safe.

Soaring Total Assets and Bigger Member Dividends

Furthermore, the fund’s overall assets grew to ₱1.32 trillion as of June 30, 2026. That is an increase of over ₱81 billion from late 2025. Gross income also surged by 19% to reach ₱52.98 billion. In addition, investment earnings from bonds, preferred shares, and time deposits soared 47% to ₱6.85 billion.

Pag-IBIG CEO Marilene C. Acosta highlighted that these earnings directly benefit members. Ultimately, a large portion of net income returns to members as credited dividends.

Since voluntary contributions make up over half of total savings collections, Pag-IBIG honors that trust by managing every peso wisely.

Fourteen Consecutive Years of Clean Financial Audits

On top of these financial gains, the agency maintains exceptional standards of governance and transparency. Recently, the Commission on Audit (COA) issued an unmodified opinion on Pag-IBIG’s 2025 financial statements.

Notably, this marks the 14th consecutive year the fund has earned the highest audit rating. For everyday members, this recognition provides peace of mind that their hard-earned money is handled with total integrity and care.

In summary, Pag-IBIG Fund’s first-half performance is a huge win for working Filipinos. Thanks to higher earnings, record assets, top audit ratings, and lower borrowing hurdles, the agency remains a trusted partner.

Ultimately, it continues to build stronger communities and secure a brighter financial future for families across the nation.
