Pag-IBIG Fund has established an investment partnership with P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation (PAAPDC) to expedite the construction of more than 7,300 affordable homes. This project is a component of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.

Teaming Up for Thousands of New Homes

Pag-IBIG is making a massive move to help more Filipinos achieve their dream of homeownership by teaming up with P.A. Alvarez Properties and Development Corporation (PAAPDC). Together, they are accelerating the construction of over 7,300 affordable homes across Batangas, Laguna, and Pampanga.

This push is part of the Expanded 4PH Program, and it’s a great mix—80% of these homes will be for socialized housing, with the remaining 20% for economic housing, directly targeting the needs of hardworking families in South and Central Luzon.

Speaking on the impact of this collaboration, Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Ramon P. Aliling noted,

As we continue to heed the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., we are strengthening our partnerships with the private sector to accelerate the delivery of affordable homes for Filipino families.”

Through this partnership, they are bringing together government financing and private-sector capability to increase housing supply, help more Filipino workers achieve the dream of homeownership, create jobs, support industries and drive inclusive economic growth.

Smart Investments to Protect Your Savings

To make all of this happen, Pag-IBIG is securely investing ₱2.9 billion in preferred shares from PAAPDC. This isn’t just a win for homebuyers; it’s heavily evaluated to be a win for all members, earning a solid 9% fixed return annually over the next three years to keep the fund growing.

Highlighting this balance, Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta explained,

This partnership demonstrates how Pag-IBIG Fund fulfills its dual mandate of helping more Filipino workers achieve the dream of homeownership while prudently investing and growing our members’ savings.”

By supporting the construction of more than 7,300 affordable homes through a prudent investment that provides stable returns, Pag-IBIG protect their members’ hard-earned savings, sustains competitive dividends and strengthens the capacity to finance even more homes for Filipino workers.

A Record-Breaking Year With More to Come

The momentum isn’t stopping here, as Pag-IBIG is already looking into even more partnerships with qualified developers to keep building affordable communities. They are coming off an incredible first half of 2026, having released over ₱69 billion in housing loans that helped more than 43,000 Filipino workers finally get their own keys. The best part is that socialized housing finance more than doubled during this time, helping over 6,600 minimum-wage and low-income earners secure a place to call home.

Ultimately, this partnership aims to significantly expand the supply of quality, affordable homes in the key growth corridors of South and Central Luzon.

By focusing heavily on socialized and economic units, the initiative is positioned to provide crucial support in meeting the ongoing housing needs of Filipino workers and their families.
