Hotel Sogo Accelerates Digital Shift with Launch of New Android Mobile App

Hotel Sogo, the largest hotel chain in the Philippines, officially transitioned into a new era of digital hospitality on April 27, 2026, with the formal debut of the Hotel Sogo Mobile App. Under the thematic banner “SOGO ON THE GO,” the launch was led by Brand Head Johnny Co, Corporate Marketing Head Sue Geminiano, and Digital and IT Director Christian Estrellado. The event signaled a strategic shift for the brand as it integrates modern technology into its signature service model across more than fifty branches nationwide.

Enhancing the Guest Experience

The “SOGO ON THE GO” initiative functions as a digital travel companion, designed specifically for the efficiency required by modern travelers. During the launch, Geminiano emphasized that the application represents a significant evolution of the brand rather than a mere technological addition.

Today, we are not simply launching an app. We are launching the next chapter of Hotel Sogo,” Geminiano stated. “The app gives our guests the power to choose where, when, and how they want to stay with just a few taps.”

While the brand’s core values of privacy, value, and Filipino hospitality remain central, the digital platform aims to make these services more accessible.

Features and Availability

The mobile application is currently available for download via the Google Play Store for Android users, with an iOS version for the Apple App Store expected to follow. This phased rollout is a key component of a broader strategy to digitize the guest journey. Key features of the app include integrated secure payments which makes multiple digital payment options for contactless transactions. Second is a digital check-in, a streamlined arrival process to reduce wait times. Lastly, nationwide connectivity to access to all fifty-plus urban and provincial locations.

The leadership team noted that this evolution updates the brand’s iconic “So Clean… So Good” identity for the digital age, remarking that the experience is now, also “So Fast, So Easy, and So Digital.” They further reassured patrons that technology would serve to support, rather than replace, the human warmth of their staff.

Future updates to the platform are expected to include loyalty reward tracking and personalized in-app support. In a closing statement to both long-time patrons and a new generation of digital-native travelers, the company shared a welcoming message:
