Since opening its doors in September 2024, Itaewon Creative Lounge has become a welcoming creative sanctuary in Baguio City. It offers a relaxed space where people can slow down, explore their creativity, and connect with others.

The Vision and Philosophy
According to Manager Shania Rose Basilio, the space was built around three ideas: connect, create, and inspire.
“Guided by our tagline, ‘Crafting Calm Moments,’ we invite people to slow down, unwind, and enjoy meaningful moments in a welcoming and creative environment,” she shares.
The lounge takes inspiration from the popular Korean series Itaewon Class. Its founder was drawn to the main character’s resilience and determination. These qualities inspired a physical space built around ambition, perseverance, and community.
Who Itaewon Serves
Itaewon welcomes students, young professionals, creatives, families, and friends. Some come to work or study. Others visit to catch up, relax, or find inspiration. Whatever brings them in, the lounge offers a comfortable setting to pause and recharge.
Best-Selling Menu Favorites
To keep guests fueled while they work or socialize, the lounge offers a popular selection of comfort foods and hearty bites. Among the favorites are Gochu Chicken, a savory and flavorful chicken dish that offers a comforting bite, and Jeyuk Bokkeum, a delicious stir-fried meat dish that brings bold flavors to the table.
They also serve Pesto and Penne Arrabiata, featuring a pair of classic pasta options ranging from a vibrant, herbaceous green pesto to a zesty, tomato-based penne with a pleasant spice, as well as Kimchi Jjigae, a warm, traditional Korean stew packed with rich and comforting flavors.

For Basilio and her team, the experience goes beyond the food and the space. What matters is how guests feel when they leave. Whether they come to work, create, catch up, or simply take a break, the goal remains the same: to help people slow down, recharge, and leave feeling inspired.
