Craving white pasta? This version of rich and delicious Chicken and Mushroom Alfredo is so easy you can serve it anytime!

Serves 4 to 7.

INGREDIENTS:


Set A:

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil 
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken breasts, cut into strips seasoned with salt
  • 1 cup canned sliced mushrooms 
  • 1 teaspoon dried herbs of choice
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Set B:

  • 2 cups chicken stock or fresh milk 
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Set C:

360-400 grams pasta of choice, cooked per package directions  

Set D (Garnish):

  • Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley
  • Cracked black pepper
