Chicken Kilaguen is a Guamanian dish that’s very much like our very own Pinoy Kilawin! Have you tried making this? It’s easy to do and very delicious, too! Watch the video below for the whole procedure!

 Serves 3 to 4.

INGREDIENTS:


 Set A:

  • 1/2 kilo chicken breast fillet
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Set B:

  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup calamansi juice
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced 
  • 1 piece red onion, chopped
  • 1 piece small cucumber, seeded and diced
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, diced
  • 1 piece finger chili, minced

Set C:

  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 1 piece camote
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream (optional) 
  • Bird’s eye chili, as needed
