Who doesn’t love fried chicken? With this simpol recipe, you can achieve the buttery, garlicky and very crisp fried chicken! Watch the video below for the whole recipe!

Serves 5 to 7.

 INGREDIENTS:


Set A:

  • 1 kilo chicken cuts
  • 1 pack seasoning granules or 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon five-spice powder (optional) 
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

Set B (Batter):

  • ​1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • Cooking oil, for deep-frying

 Set C:

  • 6-10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
