Pasta is a simple and delightful meal that can be prepared in minutes. Just cook some pasta and sauce, then either pour the sauce or mix them together. No matter what kind of pasta dish you make, if the sauce is delicious and the pasta is cooked perfectly to al dente, then it will definitely be an enjoyable meal.

With the flavor of tuna and capers to enhance the tastiness of this pasta dish, this will be an amazing meal that will satisfy everyone’s taste buds. Add chili flakes to add a spicy kick, making the dish even more appetizing.


Ingredients

Set A:
6 cups water
250 g. noodles
1 Tbsp. salt
Set B:
2 Tbsps. olive oil
1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
4 Tbsps. capers
1 can tuna
Salt and pepper, to taste
Caper juice
Chili flakes
Olive oil
1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Set C (Parmesan Cheese Alternative):
2 Tbsps. butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 cup breadcrumbs
Pinch of salt
Pinch of dried basil
Black pepper
Set D (Garnish):
Chili flakes
Fresh parsley
Garlic bread

Instructions

  1. In a pot with boiling water seasoned with salt, add the pasta noodles. Cover and leave it to boil for 9 – 10 minutes.
  2. In a pan, melt the butter. Sauté the garlic. Once the garlic has been toasted, add the breadcrumbs, then season with salt, black pepper, and dried basil. Cook it until the breadcrumbs become toasted.
  3. When the breadcrumbs have browned, transfer it to a bowl. Set aside.
  4. In a pan, heat the oil. Sauté the garlic until it becomes toasted. When the garlic starts to brown, add the capers. After sautéing the garlic and capers together, add the tuna in oil and caper juice. Season with salt and pepper. Add pasta water.
  5. Once the pasta is cooked, drain the pasta through a colander and place it into the pan. Toss it all together. Sprinkle chili flakes and toss until the pasta is fully coated in the sauce. Finish with olive oil.
  6. Arrange it on a plate. Garnish with the toasted breadcrumbs, parsley, chili flakes, and garlic bread.

Preparing this Tuna Pasta will not take much time, giving you more time to enjoy mealtime with your loved ones. Make sure to cook just enough pasta for you and your family to avoid excess, but even if there is more pasta than needed, you can just set it aside and cook another batch of sauce for the next time you want to eat a pasta dish.
