Lola had her secret to making them extra malasa: a pinch of Magic Sarap. That seasoning turned a simple chop into something truly special—and today, we’re passing that trick along to you.

This Simpol recipe uses everyday ingredients, grouped to make cooking smoother. Paired with a refreshing coleslaw, this meal is crispy, creamy, and full of flavor.


Serve it with rice or even on its own—Simpol lang, but sure to impress!

Ingredients

Set A – Seasoning the Meat:

  • 8 pieces pork chops

  • 1 sachet Maggi Magic Sarap

Set B – Breading Station:

  • 1 cup flour

  • Salt & pepper

  • 2 eggs, beaten

  • 1 1/2 cups Good Life breadcrumbs

Set C – For Frying:

  • Cooking oil

Instructions

Set A – Season:

  • Pat pork chops dry.

  • Season both sides with Magic Sarap. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Set B – Bread:

  1. Prepare three bowls:

    • One with flour seasoned with salt and pepper

    • One with beaten eggs

    • One with Good Life breadcrumbs

  2. Dredge each pork chop in the seasoned flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. Press gently to help the coating stick.

Set C – Fry:

  1. Heat cooking oil in a pan over medium heat.

  2. Fry pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through.

  3. Drain on paper towels before serving.
