With their AVP designed like a big karaoke screen, there was no explainer. It’s a jam night with the ogs!
Furthermore, this 25th-anniversary show offered a fitting celebration for the band. For decades, their generation-defining anthems have remained a core part of the Filipino music experience. In fact, their music has outlasted both industry shifts and lineup changes along the way. Bad weather even forced them to push back the original dates. However, when the band finally took the stage, the crowd didn’t budge despite the rain.
25 Years With The Band
6cyclemind brings fellow OPM legends on stage!
The show kicked off with a high-octane performance of “Magsasaya.” Right away, this set a nostalgic tone for the night. The crowd sang along passionately to favorites like “Paba,” “Biglaan,” “Prinsesa,” “Pangako,” “Basta Ako,” and “No Rewind.” Next, the band kept the momentum going with exciting cross-generational collaborations. Rye Sarmiento took over vocal duties on “Gaya Ng Noon.”
Meanwhile, Bino of Sunkissed Lola joined for “I” and collaborated on their massive hit “Pasilyo.”
Later, Jet Pangan of The Dawn brought undeniable star power to “Upside Down” and “Iisang Bangka Tayo.”
Pop star Gigi De Lana also rocked out on “Bonggahan” and “Sige.” In addition, former member and producer Chuck Isidro made a surprise appearance on guitar for “Sige.”
Beyond iconic hits like “Kung Wala Na Nga,” “Alapaap,” “Kasalanan,” “Trip,” and “Sandalan,” the band also teased new material. They performed upcoming tracks including “Hithit Buga,” “Di Na Babalik,” “Nagbago,” and “Huling Pagkakataon.” Meanwhile, rain showers fell over the venue. Even so, concertgoers stayed to sing and dance through the storm. Additionally, fans enjoyed special activities throughout the event. The first 100 attendees received exclusive anniversary shirts and a meet-and-greet session.
Furthermore, a videoke contest let fans compete for a cash prize. Overall, 6cyclemind proved that after 25 years, they are as vibrant as ever.
The Digitized Bubble
Fresh off the stage, the band transitioned directly into a press conference. The discussion quickly turned into a thoughtful dialogue about the OPM landscape. Digital technology continues to grow rapidly.
Even so, 6cyclemind warmly embraces modern digital publicity. For instance, they view leaked concert clips and performance videos as positive tools. Ultimately, these clips help them connect with younger audiences and share their music with a new generation.
Live Crowd Then and Now
The band believes art has become genre-less today.
Band member Herbert shares that opm is no longer timebound-based.

Consequently, music creation can focus more on pure creativity rather than strict technical rules.

On AI: Band Vouches For Human Creation
During the press conference, the band emphasized the human touch behind their new album. In fact, performing these new tracks live highlights the real people behind the music. As a result, this serves as their active stance in support of human artists over generative AI art.
