20 museums, galleries to visit in CCP Pasinaya 2025

Celebrate National Arts Month with CCP Pasinaya 2025 Open House Festival: Para sa Lahat by visiting as many museums and galleries as possible through its hop-on, hop-off museum tour across Manila and Pasay cities.

On Feb. 1 and 2, enjoy a pay-what-you-can, visit-all-you-can experience with Paseo Museo, one of the most beloved features of CCP Pasinaya. Hop on the free CCP shuttle at the Paseo Museo terminal along Vicente Sotto Street, and explore these 20 museums and galleries:

1. Adamson University Gallery

Since its inauguration in 2005, this gallery has been a hub for art and photography exhibits, showcasing works from both emerging and established artists. It also serves as a space for hosting distinguished guests of the theater.

2. Asian Institute of Maritime History (Museo Maritimo)

Founded in 2012, this museum preserves and promotes the Philippines’ rich maritime heritage through a curated collection of artifacts that narrate the nation’s seafaring legacy.

3. Bahay Tsinoy

This cultural museum chronicles the lives of Chinese Filipinos (Tsinoys) from the pre-colonial era to the modern day. Through its exhibits, Bahay Tsinoy documents the Tsinoy community’s contributions to Philippine society.

4. Baluarte de San Diego

Once a Spanish-era foundry and soldiers’ barracks, this archaeological park features 16th-century stone ruins, a fountain, and a pergola, making it a unique venue for special events.

5. Casa Manila

A living museum showcasing the opulent lifestyle of affluent Filipino families during the Spanish colonial period, Casa Manila features elegant interiors filled with European and Chinese influences from the 19th century.

6. Centro de Turismo

This museum immerses visitors in the rich history of Intramuros, from its pre-colonial roots to its post-war restoration, highlighting its evolution and sustainable future.

7. Museo de Intramuros

Located in reconstructed Spanish-era buildings, this museum houses the Intramuros Administration’s ecclesiastical collection, including artifacts from the San Ignacio Church and Mission House.

8. Fort Santiago

Built in 1571, this historic fortress stands as a tribute to World War II victims and the Filipino people’s enduring struggle for freedom.

9. Galleria Duemila

Established in 1975, this gallery specializes in showcasing contemporary Filipino and ASEAN artists, along with works by modern masters like Fernando Amorsolo and H.R. Ocampo.

10. GSIS Museo ng Sining

Founded in 1996, this museum displays works by National Artists, including Fernando Amorsolo’s iconic “History of Philippine Music” mural, alongside exhibits by emerging artists.

11. Manila Clock Tower Museum

Housed in the iconic 100-foot-high Manila City Hall clock tower, this museum offers an immersive experience of Manila’s history, complemented by rotating visual art and fashion exhibits.

12. Metropolitan Theater (Met)

This Art Deco architectural gem has hosted plays, concerts, operas, and musicals since 1931, making it a historic cultural landmark in Manila.

13. Museo Pambata

As the first interactive children’s museum in the Philippines, Museo Pambata provides an engaging, hands-on learning experience designed to make education fun and exciting.

14. Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MCAD)

Under the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, MCAD collaborates with local and international artists to present exhibitions and cultural programs that reflect the dynamic Philippine art scene.

15. National Museum – Anthropology

This museum showcases ethnographic and archaeological collections that trace the rich pre-history and cultural diversity of the Philippines.

16. National Museum – Fine Arts

Home to 29 galleries, this museum features works by 19th-century Filipino masters, National Artists, and prominent modern painters and sculptors.

17. National Museum – Natural History

With 12 permanent galleries, this museum highlights the country’s unique biodiversity through exhibits of botanical, zoological, and geological specimens.

18. PWU-SFAD Jose Conrado Benitez Gallery

Located at the Philippine Women’s University, this studio gallery serves as a space for showcasing works by students, faculty, and alumni, blending artistic exploration with academic study.

19. Bulwagang Roberto Chabet

While the CCP Main Building undergoes renovation until 2026, this gallery serves as the main exhibition hall, continuing the tradition of hosting innovative art displays.

20. Liwasang Kalikasan

Located at the CCP Complex, this outdoor space features public art installations and architectural elements like the bamboo pavilion, which hosts special events such as CCP’s Dagitab Digital.

This year, CCP continues its commitment to bringing Filipino arts and culture to broader audiences through programs like Pasinaya Open House Festival, Cinemalaya, and Virgin Labfest.

CCP Pasinaya’s Paseo Museo tours run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 and 2, 2025. The multi-arts festival also extends beyond Metro Manila, with simultaneous events in Batangas, Negros Occidental, Bicol, Iloilo City, and Davao del Norte through partnerships with regional CCP Kaisa sa Sining networks.
