TCL Electronics commemorated its 25th year in the Philippines with the 2025 TCL Grand Launch held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, spotlighting its recent industry accolades, product innovations, and expanded global partnerships.

The event, themed “Legendary Moment, Timeless Greatness,” showcased TCL’s latest product lineup and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering accessible, cutting-edge technology to Filipino households. TCL was recently named the top global brand in Mini-LED, Google TV, and ultra-large screen TVs (85 inches and above), according to market research firm OMDIA.

Griffin Zhang, general manager of TCL’s Asia Pacific Business Group, highlighted the company’s growing market presence in the Philippines, citing its leading sales performance in television and air conditioning units.

“Our TV and AC sales both hold the No. 1 market share in volume and have become trusted brands among consumers,” Zhang said during the program. “Looking ahead, TCL will continue to uphold the principle of ‘Technology Creates a Better Life,’ and we aim to innovate while enhancing our product quality and service.”

Peter Chen, CEO of TCL Philippines, also addressed the audience, emphasizing TCL’s focus on innovation, design, and sustainability.

“We are not a follower, but a trailblazer,” Chen said. “We believe there’s a power that keeps us going on the path to upgrading TCL’s brand value.”

During the launch, TCL unveiled several new technologies, including the X11K QD-MiniLED TV, the FreshIn 3.0 air conditioner, the Super Drum Combo+ C682 washer-dryer, and the AAT Inverter+ C436BMSB refrigerator.

These new products emphasize what the company described as “cooler, cleaner, smarter, and sharper” solutions designed to enhance everyday living through energy efficiency and smart features.

The event also highlighted TCL’s long-term global partnership with the International Olympic Committee, which runs through 2032. The collaboration will see TCL providing technological support to the Olympic Village and enhancing the overall fan experience.

“Being a global technology leader, TCL believes in the power to ‘Inspire Greatness,’ a sentiment echoed by the Olympic spirit,” said Shae Yu, deputy marketing director of TCL Philippines.

Olympian EJ Obiena, currently ranked fourth in the world for men’s pole vault and the holder of the Asian record, attended the event as a special guest. Obiena said the partnership mirrors the mindset of continuous improvement shared by both athletes and innovators.

The program also introduced new TCL brand partners, actress Rhian Ramos and television personality Valeen Montenegro, who shared their enthusiasm for the brand’s commitment to technology and design.

To conclude the celebration, TCL executives, including Deputy Sales Director Cyd Montebon and Deputy Retail Director Wesley Yang, led a ceremonial toast to mark the company’s milestone and future ambitions.

“As TCL commemorates its 25th anniversary, it looks forward to building on its legacy of innovation,” said Yang. “The best is yet to come.”

TCL Electronics entered the Philippine market in 1999 and has since expanded its product line across home entertainment, climate control, and home appliances.
