From practical streaming insights, to networking opportunities and live performances.

Furthermore, Symphonic Asia Pacific just recently hosted two complementary initiatives in Manila centered on community building and industry education.

The Spotify Masterclass and the Symphonic Social Night.

Bringing together Symphonic Distribution’s partner artists, independent labels, and creative stakeholders, the dual event took place on June 18, 2026, at Sari-Sari Bar. These two events emphasized Symphonic’s commitment to empowering music professionals in the Philippines.

Meanwhile, the digital landscape allows creators to upload music globally with ease. But it has also made the industry increasingly complex.

Independent creators are now expected to act as full-time marketers, data analysts, and business strategists simultaneously.

Recognizing this shift, Symphonic designed this two-part program to bridge the gap between digital access and true industry understanding, providing creators with the tools and relationships needed to build sustainable careers.

Mastering the Streaming Ecosystem

To ignite the vibe, the activities kicked off in the afternoon with an intensive Spotify Masterclass. This is to equip local artists and professionals with practical knowledge to navigate the streaming ecosystem.

Through direct engagement with Spotify experts, attendees gained valuable perspectives on digital strategies and audience development. The session covered essential Spotify for Artists tools, data analytics, promotional opportunities, and algorithm best practices.

Local independent artists and industry professionals gathered at Sari-Sari Bar for an intensive Spotify Masterclass hosted by Symphonic Asia Pacific, diving deep into streaming tools, algorithm best practices, and audience growth.

The masterclass drew a diverse mix of established industry figures and rising independent trailblazers. Notable participants included representatives from Underdog Music Asia, FlipMusic, Fire and Ice, Diorama FM, Groovy Garden Records, Music Monks, and Playback Records, alongside OPM icon Jim Paredes.

Guji Lorenzana, Symphonic’s Director of A&R and Client Development for APAC, explained that the goal is to help participants build sustainable careers and make informed choices.

He noted that while the industry is highly accessible, navigating distribution, marketing, and analytics simultaneously is tough.

It’s the programs like this that bring two imperative things together.

Offering direct access to expertise and fostering a supportive community.

Symphonic Social Night and Live Showcase

Following the educational session, the energy shifted into a celebratory evening with the Symphonic Social Night.

Dedicated to creative professionals, artists, and partners, the gathering transformed the venue into a dynamic space for collaboration and networking. As an extension of the day’s conversations, it offered a relaxed environment for building relationships while spotlighting talent through a curated live showcase.

The Symphonic Social Night brought the house down with incredible live performances from VVINK, Chezka, Novocrane, Jordan Susanto, Fiona, P4blo, and Letter Day Story. Celebrating community, connection, and the vibrant local music scene.

The live performances delivered an incredible surge of energy, kicking off with the rising P-Pop group VVINK. Fresh off their debut album release, they captivated the crowd with infectious anthems and polished choreography.

Consequently, Indie acts Chezka and Novocrane brought melodic grit and creative boldness to the stage, while Indonesian artist Jordan Susanto delivered soul-stirring numbers that highlighted Symphonic’s regional network.

The showcase continued with Symphonic’s own Fiona, who performed a selection of original songs, followed by hip-hop artist P4blo’s hard-hitting verses. Pop-punk veterans Letter Day Story then took attendees on a nostalgic journey with fan-favorite hits and new material.

Capping off the celebration, Guji Lorenzana took over the decks for a special DJ set to bring the night to a fitting close.

A “By Artists, For Artists” Ethos with Regional Roots

Community, creativity, and connection.

Symphonic’s expansion across the APAC region focuses on empowering independent creators by giving them consistent opportunities to learn and grow together.

Subsequently, because many team members at Symphonic are artists themselves, they understand firsthand how vital education and industry relationships are to building a career.

Furthermore, this community-first approach is rooted in Symphonic Distribution’s history as an independent champion. Founded in 2006 by music producer Jorge Brea in Tampa, Florida, the minority-owned company operates on a strict “by artists, for artists” ethos.

It provides a tech-driven platform for global distribution, content management, royalty collection, marketing, and label services.

By pairing proprietary technology with a hands-on approach, Symphonic supports independent creators at every stage of their journey.

By artists, for artists. From game-changing digital streaming insights to an unforgettable night of live music and networking, Symphonic Asia Pacific successfully brought together Manila’s independent music community!

Today, the company maintains a global presence spanning the U.S., Latin America, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Its extensive roster features global talent and independent pioneers alike, including Imogen Heap, Bad Bunny, Tokischa, Doechii, Surf Mesa, and many more.

Moreover, this event proves that innovation and local community engagement go hand in hand.
