Nadine Lustre is on for some Cool Girl music again. Turning a decade of life lessons into music with her latest release, “10YRS,” out now on all digital music platforms worldwide via Cool Girl Records. Nadine reflects on her 20s, the introspective ballad captures her journey through heartbreak, mistakes, growth, and self-discovery. Serving as an empowering anthem of acceptance and self-reclamation.

Growing Pain and Beauty

Rather than dwelling on past struggles, “10YRS” embraces every experience—both difficult and beautiful—as essential to becoming the person Nadine is today. The track traces her path toward letting go of what no longer serves her, reclaiming her identity, and looking ahead to what comes next.

Wrote a lil’ something for her

Teasing the track on Instagram, Nadine shared a poignant reflection that anchors the emotional depth of the song:

I used to think life was supposed to make sense while I was living it.

My 20s taught me that sometimes you have to live through the whole thing before you understand why certain versions of you had to exist.

The falling, the rising, the losing, the finding. . . somehow, it all belonged.

Wrote a lil’ something for her.”

The song transforms these moments into a clear-cut affirmation of self-worth, proving that healing and growth do not require perfection. It captures Nadine embracing life in all its unpredictability while learning to “Dance with the chaos like I’m part of it.”

10YRS Was Lived and Out!

Co-written by Nadine Lustre and Rose Caroline Mamonong, the track combines beats and instrumentation by Isagani Palabyab with subtle, dramatic violin work by GD Onallices. The somber, understated production highlights Nadine’s singing in its vulnerable glory: tender and delicate, yet beaming with light and life.
