What started as a simple purchase in the kitchen became something far bigger—an act of quiet generosity shared by thousands of Filipino households. This year, Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil’s “Share-the-Love with Heart Mate” campaign set out to raise ₱1 million for the Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation, Inc. (PGHMFI). By the time the campaign closed, Filipinos had given even more than expected: ₱1,227,450.
The official turnover, held on November 27, 2025 at Robinsons Supermarket Ermita, gathered partners from Fly Ace Corporation, Robinsons Supermarket, and PGHMFI to celebrate what this milestone truly represented—not corporate messaging, but a moment when ordinary families helped lift other families through the hardest moments of illness.

A Donation Built on Small, Steady Acts
From July 15 to October 15, every bottle of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil purchased at Robinsons Supermarket contributed ₱5 to PGHMFI. That tiny amount—barely noticeable in a grocery run—grew into something life-changing.
“We want to dedicate and honor the loyal consumers of Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil today. They have not only shown love, health, and wellness for their families, but have also extended their generosity to their fellow Filipinos,” shared Fly Ace Corporation Vice President for Marketing Abigail Ng-Reyes.
This year also marked Jolly Heart Mate’s 25th anniversary, a milestone rooted in the brand’s promise of heart-healthy cooking and family wellness. The donation became an unexpected celebration of those values—one that placed Filipino compassion front and center.
Helping Patients Where It Matters Most
At PGH, where thousands seek care every day, the impact of the donation is already being felt. Funds are directly supporting medical assistance for indigent patients, helping to cover laboratory tests performed outside the hospital, and providing the necessary equipment in urgent situations.

“Maraming, maraming salamat po for the donation,” said PGHMFI Chairman and President Dr. Telesforo E. Gana Jr. “All of these go to different aspects of our work—whether it’s direct patient assistance or supplying instruments and equipment that may be needed.”

Philippine General Hospital Director Dr. Gap Legaspi echoed this gratitude, emphasizing how support like this bridges the most critical periods of patient care: “Thank you very much for this. I think this will be a big help in bridging that [critical] period when patients urgently need access to goods or medicines.”
A Partnership Rooted in Shared Purpose
Robinsons Supermarket played a key role in bringing the campaign to life, reminding shoppers that even routine purchases can carry meaning.
“When we unite for a greater cause, we show that a supermarket can be more than a place to shop — it can be a place where hearts come together,” said Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. President and CEO Stanley Co.
Through this partnership, Jolly Heart Mate and Robinsons Supermarket tapped into something distinctively Filipino: the belief that care is strongest when shared. Thousands of households turned their everyday cooking into a gesture of solidarity for families facing medical hardship.
A Movement That Began at Home
The campaign’s success reveals a truth we often forget: generosity doesn’t always start with grand gestures. Sometimes, it begins with something as ordinary as a bottle of cooking oil.
By choosing Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil, shoppers fed their families while helping feed PGH’s capacity to serve more people in need. And in a season when health, home, and heart matter most, that feels like the kind of giving worth celebrating.
