Thereby leaving the young protagonist to bear the absolute weight of the legal, physical, and emotional toll entirely on her own.
Ultimately, adding a young girl who acts as a physical manifestation of the protagonist’s inner psyche elevates the storytelling. By doing so, it emphasizes a profound, original truth. When a society strips an individual of their choices, the resulting psychological toll becomes a haunting baseline that they must carry forever.

The parallel success of this cinematic piece belongs to its leading lady, Maris Racal. Who entered production on the heels of a massive wave of internet backlash.
