Owning a home may feel out of reach for many Filipino families, especially with the rising cost of living. However, finding a property that fits their budget could become easier this October. The Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and Pag-IBIG Fund are bringing thousands of housing options together at one event.
The 2nd National Housing Expo will take place on October 19 and 20 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. It will feature 50,000 housing units from more than 80 partner developers. Visitors can explore house-and-lot properties, condominiums, and ready-for-occupancy units. There will also be options within Metro Manila.
More Homes Within Reach
The Expo supports the government’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program. The initiative aims to make homeownership more accessible through affordable financing and partnerships with private developers.
DHSUD Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board Chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the program aims to help Filipino families find quality homes in safe communities. It also seeks to bring housing options closer to people’s workplaces.
Participating developers include Amaia Land, Avida Land, DMCI Homes, Filinvest Land, Megaworld Corporation, Robinsons Land, Rockwell Land, PH1 World Developers, Megawide, and SMDC.
Financing Options for Different Budgets
Pag-IBIG Fund members can explore housing loans that match their income levels. Under Expanded 4PH, qualified buyers of socialized housing may access a subsidized interest rate of 3%. Eligible members can also avail of promotional rates of 4.5% and 5.75% on housing loans.
Moreover, housing loans of up to ₱10 million give members more options when looking for properties near employment centers. These promotional rates are available until December 31, 2026, subject to qualifications and applicable terms.
Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene C. Acosta said the Expo brings housing options, financing, and personalized assistance together. This helps members make informed decisions about buying a home.
Special Deals and On-Site Assistance
Aside from property showcases, visitors can enjoy special prices and buyer incentives from participating developers. Pag-IBIG Acquired Assets will also be available at discounts of up to 30%.
Solar energy providers and home essentials retailers will join the event as well. They will offer special packages and discounts to Pag-IBIG Loyalty Cardholders.
Meanwhile, members can request on-site housing loan computations and receive guidance on financing and applications. These services can help prospective buyers assess their budgets and identify suitable properties.
Plan Your Visit
Held in celebration of National Shelter Month, the two-day Expo brings together government agencies and private-sector partners. Together, they aim to expand access to affordable housing.
Interested homebuyers can register through the official National Housing Expo registration website. During registration, they can select their preferred schedule. Visitors can then use their personal QR code and Loan Value Card to explore participating developer booths and compare housing options.
For Filipino families working toward homeownership, the Expo offers a chance to compare properties, understand financing options, and take a practical step toward finding a place to call home.
