Cosmobeauté Philippines, the country’s only business-to-business (B2B) trade show for the beauty, cosmetics, personal care and wellness industries, will return June 4 to 6, 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila in Pasay City.
Formerly known as the PhilBeauty Expo, the event was rebranded in 2024 by Informa Markets Philippines to align with the Cosmobeauté brand portfolio and its regional partner, Cosmoprof Asia, one of the largest B2B beauty events in the Asia-Pacific region.
Organizers expect the 2025 edition to draw more than 250 exhibitors from 20 countries and welcome up to 7,000 attendees, including manufacturers, suppliers, trade buyers and other industry professionals.
“This is not just a beauty show or product showcase — it’s about fostering meaningful connections, sharing innovations and empowering industry professionals,” said Rungphech “Rose” Chitanuwat, country general manager of Informa Markets Philippines.
According to the IMARC Group, the Philippine beauty and personal care market reached an estimated USD3.7 billion, or about P350.35 billion, in 2024. That figure is projected to grow to USD11.05 billion in the coming years, driven by heightened consumer awareness, changing beauty preferences and the influence of social media.
The Chamber of Cosmetics Industry of the Philippines Inc. valued the country’s cosmetics sector at roughly USD4 billion annually as of 2022.
Chitanuwat said Cosmobeauté Philippines aims to contribute to the industry’s growth by serving as a hub for innovation, networking and trade. “The goal is to contribute to the exponential growth of the promising beauty industry in the Philippines — one of the most active nations in Southeast Asia,” she said.
The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), which supports the event, said it is committed to helping micro, small and medium-sized enterprises expand their reach in the local and regional beauty markets.
Acting Trade Secretary Cristine Roque said the DTI is focused on creating more avenues for MSMEs to connect with consumers and industry players. “This initiative presents opportunities for collaboration and innovation,” she said. “Cosmobeauté Philippines is a vital platform for companies in the beauty sector.”
DTI officials said participation in trade shows such as Cosmobeauté aligns with the agency’s broader strategy to stimulate economic activity and position local businesses in regional supply chains.
