Fresh faces, former titleholders and pageant veterans have been selected to compete in this year’s edition of Mister Pilipinas Worldwide, the country’s premier competition for aspiring kings of pageantry. Twenty-six contenders are going head-to-head, showcasing brains, brawn and bravura as they vie to become the next big names in fashion and entertainment.
Among this year’s contestants are seasoned showbiz professionals: Mister Tourism World 2023 first runner-up and Century Tuna Superbods 2024 winner Jether Palomo of Taguig; Mr. World Philippines 2024 and Century Tuna Superbods 2022 winner Kirk Bondad of Baguio; celebrity fitness trainer Enzo Bonoan of Quezon City; professional host and voice actor Kitt Cortez of San Juan, Manila; and local pageant veteran Raven Lansangan of Pampanga.
Pageant newcomers are also making waves, including celebrity makeup artist Kenneth Marcelino of Laguna; Fil-foreigners Michael Alfonso Carter of the United Kingdom and Giuseppe Agliano of Italy; and Far Eastern University student Justine Quiocho of Binangonan.
“The growing fan base and the raging success of our past delegates reveal how set the stage is for Filipino men to rule the world of pageantry,” said Joshua de Sequera, national director of Mister Pilipinas Worldwide. “We already send our early congratulations to our contenders who are showing up and defying stereotypes so they can showcase their talent and give us more pride. As we speak, they’ve already combined for around 2 million followers across different social media platforms — very telling of their influence at this early stage of the competition. We’re excited to see them grow to be their own man as they embark on their Mister Pilipinas Worldwide journey.”
This year, the organization aims to further place Filipino men front and center, with 26 contenders selected from across the Philippines and Filipino communities in countries such as Italy, Canada and the United Kingdom. The pageant promises fierce competition, as contestants will be judged not just on looks and athleticism but also on talent, confidence and, most importantly, purpose.
“Despite being conceived only a few years ago, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide is poised to become the grandest male pageant in the Philippines — selecting top-notch, talented artists who can truly put our country on the international map of male competitions,” De Sequera said.
Since its inception in 2023, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide has become the most widely acclaimed male pageant in the country, producing delegates for international competitions such as Mister Supranational, Mister International, Mister Global, Manhunt International, Mister Cosmopolitan and Man of the Year.
Notable past and present contenders include Mister Pilipinas Worldwide 2023 titleholder and up-and-coming actor-performer Johannes Rissler; Mister Global 2024 representative and model Daumier Corilla; and Mister Supranational 2024 second runner-up and commercial model Brandon Espiritu.
Run by the leading talent and creative agency Empire Philippines, Mister Pilipinas Worldwide serves as a launchpad for pageant hopefuls and will culminate in its Finals Night on April 28, 2025.
This year’s edition is further amplified by a new partnership with Playtime, the online gaming platform that has supported Filipino talent since 2024 and shares the pageant’s mission of promoting local excellence.
