This is a perfect party dish! It requires a bit of preparation but everyone will surely enjoy this creamy and delicious chicken casserole!

INGREDIENTS:

 Set A:

  • 1 whole chicken, halved
  • 1 kilogram potatoes, peeled
  • 1 piece large carrot, peeled
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 teaspoons salt

 Set B:


  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece onion, minced
  • 1 can sliced button mushrooms
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 can corn kernels
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken stock (from Set A)
  • Shredded chicken (from Set A)
  • Diced carrots (from Set A)
  • 1 ¼ cup cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Set C:

  • Boiled Potatoes (from Set A)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Quick-melt cheese, for topping

Chef Tatung’s Tips:

  • You can use store-bought rotisserie chicken for this recipe.
  • Add some fresh or dried herbs to jazz up the flavor of the dish.
