Apple announced the iPhone 16e, a new addition to the iPhone 16 lineup that offers powerful capabilities at a more affordable price.
The iPhone 16e delivers fast, smooth performance and extended battery life, thanks to the efficiency of the A18 chip and the new Apple C1, the company’s first cellular modem. The device is also built for Apple Intelligence, Apple’s personal AI system that aims to deliver relevant and helpful insights while advancing privacy in artificial intelligence.
The 48-megapixel Fusion camera captures high-quality photos and videos, and with an integrated 2x telephoto lens, it functions like two cameras in one, allowing users to zoom in with optical-quality precision. When outside of cellular or Wi-Fi coverage, Apple’s satellite features — including Emergency SOS, Roadside Assistance, Messages, and Find My — help users stay connected and get assistance when needed.
The iPhone 16e will be available in two matte finishes, black and white, with colorful cases sold separately.
