Share-the-Love With Heart Mate
Love certainly does not stop at the family table. It easily travels from one household to another when people unite around a shared purpose.
Following last year’s success, the “Share-the-Love with Heart Mate” campaign has officially returned for its second year. Through this initiative, everyday grocery shopping transforms into meaningful support for others. As Fly Ace Corporation VP for Marketing Abigail Ng-Reyes noted,
Love often begins with the people closest to us — our families, our homes, our everyday routines. With “Share-the-Love with Heart Mate,” we want to show that this same spirit of care can reach further.”
She even adds,
When shoppers choose Heart Mate as part of their regular grocery trip, they become part of something bigger: a community coming together to support fellow Filipinos who need help.”
Over all, The response to last year’s initiative showed what can happen when many people make one simple choice together.
For this year, she’s more than grateful to have more retail partners helping us bring that opportunity to more communities.
Everyday Choices Into a Meaningful Help
Meaningful community support does not always require a grand gesture.
Instead, it often starts with routine tasks, such as buying groceries for loved ones. Building on this idea, the previous campaign successfully raised ₱1,227,450 for PGH Medical Foundation, Inc., which even surpassed its initial ₱1-million goal. Consequently, the funds helped acquire an essential ultrasound system for the Newborn Medicine Department. Speaking on this partnership, Kerwin Legarde, Group General Manager of Robinsons Supermarket, shared,
We are proud that through Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, Shopwise and The Marketplace, we can be part of a meaningful initiative that brings together health, wellness and community care.”
As retailers, Kerwin Legarde believes that grocery stores are part of the everyday lives of Filipino families. Even adding,
Share-the-Love with Heart Mate gives us an opportunity to make those everyday grocery choices mean even more. It is our privilege to help make giving back more accessible to the communities we serve.”
In addition, Dr. Telesforo E. Gana Jr., Chairman and President of the PGH Medical Foundation, Inc., expressed deep gratitude for the support extended through “Share-the-Love with Heart Mate.”
He shared that the donation helped provide an ultrasound system for their Newborn Medicine Department, which is an important piece of equipment in caring for their youngest patients. He also expressed appreciation to Fly Ace Corporation and Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., for their generosity, and noted that they were especially thankful to see the campaign return for a second year, giving them another opportunity to bring meaningful support to the patients and families they serve.
Simple Purchase That Makes a Difference
Caring for families can easily extend far beyond our own kitchens. Running from October 1 to December 31, 2026, ₱5 from every participating Jolly Heart Mate Canola Oil product purchased at Robinsons Supermarket, Robinsons Easymart, Shopwise, and The Marketplace will directly benefit the PGH Medical Foundation, Inc. Ultimately, a standard grocery trip can do much more than just bring food to the table. It serves as a wonderful way to give back and make a lasting difference.
