‘Tis the season to be merry! Our feets found their way to the ultimate city address for the holidays. This celebration embodies the Filipino spirit of sharing, gathering, and coming home. Recently, Citadines hosted an exclusive preview of their holiday offerings. As a result, festive flavors, elevated gatherings, and warm traditions came together seamlessly.
Open View of a Relaxing Pre-Game
The event took place at the property’s penthouse.

Upon arrival, media guests received warm welcomes alongside craft cocktails and pass-around bites. Meanwhile, the soothing city view complemented the pleasant weather.

A long dining table guided guests to the media noche centerpiece. Here, the culinary team served holiday dishes in charming bandehados. Options ranged from traditional kakanins to essential holiday staples. First, guests enjoyed sourdough bread paired with complimentary spreads. These included keso de bola, dulce de leche, and avocado puree jam.
The Dinner Proper
Next, the formal dinner began with a comforting Chicken Velouté. Inspired by traditional sopas, this dish retained its iconic warmth. However, the chef replaced the usual macaroni with fresh veggie bits and crispy chicken skin.

Afterward, the team presented the Duo Barbecue Sampler. Tender beef tapa and chicken tocino met chives and a pinakurat espuma. Typically, barbecue requires a tangy condiment. Therefore, the chef infused suka into the foam to deliver a perfectly balanced acidity.
Soon after, the Tinta Adobo took center stage as the star dish. The kitchen marinated tender baby squid in a rich adobo sauce thickened with natural squid ink. Additionally, guests enjoyed dipping the squid tentacles into crushed chili. Crunchy kangkong and rice chips completed the plate.
Furthermore, the Hamon and Keso De Bola dish offered a nostalgic touch. The combination of elevated potato cheese and pineapple sauce instantly evoked classic holiday memories. Indeed, this course proved to be a holiday essential.

Finally, dinner concluded on a sweet note with the Tropical Flora dessert. Encased in a chocolate border, mango sago and fruit curds were layered over toasted oat crumbles. Consequently, every single bite delivered a burst of sweetness.
Prosperity at Your Table
The holidays are about shared experiences.
