They met in grade six.
Guess they made it big with a live orchestral set and Bali show!
To celebrate the release of their 8-track sophomore album, AFTER OURS, ALYSON teamed up with GNN Prod and Offshore Music Philippines for a special one-night concert titled “AFTER OURS: Live And In Full”.
The former grade six bandmates have truly evolved into staples of the local music scene.
For this show, they reworked their entire new record into a continuous live orchestral set. As a result, the music guided the audience through the emotional aftermath of love by blending Manila Sound, city pop, disco, jazz, and synth-pop.
Funk-Pop Friends Opening The Act
The evening kicked off with energetic opening sets.

First, Paprikka took the stage to perform vibrant Japanese city pop covers.
Next up was Uncle Bob’s Funky Seven Club. Dressed in full 70s attire, the seven-member band brought pure lover-girl energy and perfectly warmed up the room.

Shortly after, a fun icebreaker cut through the act. A fan named Seb challenged keyboardist Easel Manes to an impromptu Rubik’s cube battle right in the middle of the show. Consequently, Seb walked away with a signed poster.
Bayaw, Bayaw? Musika!
Before the main act, the energy reached a peak when actor, comedian, and director Jun “Bayaw” Sabayton walked out with a beer in hand.

He led the crowd in his iconic “bayaw bayaw, musika” chant. Then, Jun delivered his signature poetic introduction:
Alam nyo naman yung mga ganitong pormahan, mga sa lumang palabas mo lang ito nakikita, eh, no?
At syempre, parang binabalik tayo sa nakaraan.
Pero syempre ang tunog, ay parang ngayon, at bukas.”
Right on cue, Pio rose and ALYSON launched into their orchestral performance.

Meanwhile, highlights kept rolling in. Paprikka rejoined the band for a surprise city-pop duet on “Talaga”.

Additionally, Beabu took the stage for a guest performance of “Feel So Good”.

The set also featured solo moments for lead guitarist Luis Uy, drummer/producer Marcus Mababangloob, keyboardist Easel Manes, and bassist Miguel Erfe—who nailed his solo despite a quick stage blocking mishap.
Bali, You’re Next!
When the final note faded, the crowd erupted into loud chants for an encore.
Naturally, ALYSON happily obliged while fans kept vibing with their drinks. More than just an album launch, this grand setup served as a crucial momentum bwelo. Ultimately, it sets the pace as ALYSON prepares to represent the Philippines at the AXEAN Festival 2026 in Bali.

That one night in Aster Place, ALYSON reiterates that their retro-pop artistry is non-negotiable.
AFTER OURS: Live And In Full wasn’t just a live show—it was an unforgettable experience that honored their roots while boldly pointing toward their international future.
