With the theme “Your World of Gin Experience,” this year’s World Gin Day 2025 celebration invited Filipino gin lovers to embark on a Journey to the World of Gin. This offered them a unique, immersive experience.
Held at the Manila Diamond Hotel ballroom, the event transformed the venue into a gateway to the world. Here, every sip became a destination and each corner revealed the rich story of gin.
The leader and producer of the world’s best-selling gin, Ginebra San Miguel Inc. (GSMI), designed a full-fledged voyage, blending aviation-inspired aesthetics with the sensory adventure of gin appreciation. The celebration embraced immersive exploration, spotlighting gin’s diversity and global reach through a curated exhibit on the venue’s premises.
From check-in to the final landing, guests were taken on a “flight” through global flavors, cultural heritage, and Filipino excellence. The event brought together gin enthusiasts, industry leaders, media, influencers, and celebrities. It aimed to celebrate gin as a global favorite—and Ginebra San Miguel as a brand that has now gone international.

Cool Botanica
Guests entered a travel-themed world where aviation lounge aesthetics met gin sophistication. At the Cool Botanica zone, they walked through a lush, garden-inspired space where juniper berries and other botanicals took center stage. This sensory experience allowed visitors to crush, touch, and smell gin’s core ingredients. It evoked the freshness and craftsmanship behind every bottle.
Clear Archives
Next came the Clear Archives, a classic London pub-style exhibit filled with dark wood, vintage posters, and copper pot stills. This museum-like walkthrough traced gin’s rich history—from European origins to its celebrated role in Filipino drinking culture. Guests savored freshly crafted 1834 Premium Distilled Gin and Archangel Reserve Premium Dry Gin. They were surrounded by the legacy of GSMI, one of the world’s top gin producers.
Versatile Bar & Lounge
The journey concluded at the Versatile Bar & Lounge, a sleek cocktail zone styled like a modern airport lounge. Guests enjoyed handcrafted drinks from Gin Carts, which were manned by TESDA-trained mixologists from the GSM Bar Academy. Cocktails like Pearl of the Orient, Golden Halo, Singapore Sling, Classic Gin & Tonic, Jell-O Shots, and Negronishowcased gin’s versatility. They used GSMI brands including GSM Blue, 1834, Archangel Reserve, and Ginebra San Miguel Bilog.
Welcome to the World of Gin
To tie all the elements together, the program introduced a narrative arc built around global travel and storytelling.
Framed around a flight-inspired concept, the World of Gin event unfolded in three thematic chapters, each elevating the story of Ginebra as a world-class spirit. The journey was launched by GSM endorser Nik Makino.

Happy World Gin Day
Festivities reached a high with GSM Blue endorser Gabbi Garcia leading a trivia game and interactive toast. Brand ambassadors, executives, and guests raised their glasses. They celebrated in a spirited “Happy World Gin Day!”
Beyond entertainment, the event highlighted GSMI’s global milestones—seven consecutive Gold Quality Seals from Monde Selection, the worldwide acclaim of 1834 Premium Distilled Gin, and the enduring export appeal of Gin Bilogand Kwatro Kantos.
