The Celebratory Line-up
After two and a half decades of defining OPM, 6cyclemind is marking a major milestone. Specifically, the band will host a free anniversary concert at Eton Centris in Quezon City on September 12, 2026. Rather than just another gig, this event serves as a homecoming for lifelong fans.
To elevate the celebration, the band assembled a cross-generational lineup. For instance, the roster features Gigi de Lana, Bino of Sunkissed Lola, HEY JUNE!, and Jet Pangan of The Dawn. In addition, CLNO—fronted by former member Chuck Isidro—will kick off the night with an opening set.
Honoring The Soundtrip Legacy
Ultimately, the band views this quarter-century journey as a testament to connection rather than just history. Bassist Bobby Cañamo emphasized this sentiment:
We consider every anniversary a milestone. 25 years is such a special milestone kasi mas ramdam namin yung era na natawid ng banda. Also, this time, may opportunity kami i-celebrate yung milestone nang mas grand.”
Over the years, their music has become a staple of daily life. In particular, their tracks regularly soundtrack videoke sessions and family road trips. Consequently, their catalog remains timeless because the band never stopped evolving.
According to drummer Vic Aquino, their dedication to staying active and relatable explains why anthems like “Sandalan” and “Biglaan” still resonate across generations today.

Above all, live performances remain the band’s heartbeat. Manager and sixth member Darwin Hernandez reflected on this enduring bond:
A live show always seems like a reunion with our audience for us. We were blessed that we were able to build a connection with our audience through our songs.”
Meanwhile, 6cyclemind shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, they are already back in the studio crafting new music alongside producer Chuck Isidro. As they head into their 26th year, their primary focus remains clear: to grow, perform, and inspire.
As Aquino concluded:
We just want to share our music and be an inspiration to others. Gaya nung lyrics, ‘di kami tumigil, itinuloy namin through ups and downs and lineup changes ng members ng banda.”
