The Jellicle Cats are finally out of the bag. Base Entertainment Asia, in association with GWB Entertainment and LW Entertainment, has unveiled the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s legendary musical CATS. The beloved production returns to the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands for a strictly limited season from 29 October to 22 November 2026.

As the Jellicle Cats gather once more under the moonlight, Singapore audiences can look forward to meeting a vibrant new company of performers bringing T. S. Eliot’s feline characters to life—a colorful clowder of curious, charismatic, and captivating Cats, each with a distinct personality and place within the Jellicle tribe.

A Strictly Limited Run This Autumn

Across its celebrated stage history, these iconic roles have been inhabited by some of musical theatre’s most renowned performers, including Elaine Paige as Grizabella, Sarah Brightman as Jemima, Brian Blessed as Old Deuteronomy, Wayne Sleep as Mr Mistoffelees, Paul Nicholas as Rum Tum Tugger, and Bonnie Langford as Rumpleteazer.

A vibrant company of performers brings T. S. Eliot’s feline characters to life with breathtaking choreography and whimsical costumes.

CATS has also woven its own local legacy, with Singaporean theatre icon Jacintha Abisheganaden and Filipino musical theatre star Joanna Ampil among the acclaimed performers who have previously brought the show-stopping role of Grizabella to the Singapore stage.

Taking her place in that storied tradition, Cindy-Ann Abrahams steps into the spotlight as Grizabella to perform the hauntingly beautiful “Memory”—one of musical theatre’s most recognisable and enduring anthems.

Fresh Talent and Familiar Faces Join the Tribe

The vibrant company of Jellicle Cats features Tatum Coleman as Bombalurina, Cassiel Eatock-Winnik as Victoria, Charlie Follows as Bill Bailey, Michael Fullard as Carbucketty, Dylan Janse van Rensburg as Rum Tum Tugger, Ché-jean Jupp as Munkustrap, Tannah Levick as Rumpleteazer, Brittané van Loggerenberg as Demeter, Zoë Mclaughlin as Jennyanydots, Hannah Marshall as Cassandra, Morgan Marshall as Electra / On Stage Swing, Sibusiso Mxosana as Alonzo, Tshepo Ncokoane as Bustopher Jones / Gus, Noa Duckitt as Jellylorum.

Four Decades of Feline Magic on Stage

Local theatregoers may also spot a familiar face in Mukeni Nel. Returning after his memorable appearance in the musical’s 2019 Singapore run, he steps into the shoes of Quaxo / Mr Mistoffelees—the magical Jellicle Cat famous for delivering one of the show’s most spectacular signature dance numbers.

Inspired by T. S. Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats, CATS transforms the stage into a larger-than-life junkyard where the Jellicle Cats gather to sing, dance, and share their stories with Old Deuteronomy at the legendary Jellicle Ball. The stakes? One lucky cat will be chosen to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a brand-new life.

As one of the longest-running powerhouses in West End and Broadway history, CATS premiered in London in 1981 and purred for 21 years, with nearly 9,000 performances. Along the way, it swept prestigious honors, including the Olivier and Evening Standard Awards for Best Musical, and won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Since its debut, more than 77 million theatre lovers across 54 countries have experienced the magic of CATS, and the show is available in 23 languages. Its global soundtrack also made waves: the Broadway cast recording won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, while the original London cast recording earned a coveted Grammy nomination.

With Andrew Lloyd Webber’s timeless score—including “Memory,” covered by over 150 artists—alongside breathtaking choreography, fantastical stage design, and playfully whimsical costumes, CATS remains an unmissable, dazzling song-and-dance spectacle.
