Simpol Cooking Notes

Chef Tatung’s tip: Thinly sliced beef makes this recipe quick to prepare. Don’t overcook—just enough to get nice sear marks while keeping the meat tender. For the vegetables, blanching keeps their bright color and crunch. If you don’t have time for mashed potatoes, plain steamed rice works just as well. For the gravy, you can enrich it with mushrooms if you like, or make a double batch to keep in the fridge. Remember, Simpol cooking is about resourcefulness—using what you have and cooking with love for your family.
