Looking forward to the RMA Studio Academy recital 2025, which promises to be an incredible event featuring talented performers.
RMA Studio Academy held its first student recital of the year over the weekend, featuring 83 performers of various ages in an event centered on music’s ability to heal and inspire.
The event, titled “Music Heals, One Note at a Time,” was staged in partnership with Yupangco Music, Specc Studios and Croshella. It took place before a full audience of coaches, family members and friends.
According to the academy, the recital aimed to celebrate both the technical growth and emotional journeys of its students. Many had spent months preparing for the performance, which was described by organizers as a showcase of resilience, confidence and self-expression through music.
Jade Riccio, the academy’s chief executive officer and a vocal coach, addressed the audience during the program. Riccio is also the sole recipient of the 37th Aliw Awards Hall of Fame honor.

“At RMA, we believe in transforming lives through music,” she said. “So sit back, enjoy with your hearts, and celebrate every note, every melody and every story told.”
RMA Studio Academy offers a variety of programs including music lessons, recording facilities, content creation spaces and rehearsal studios. The school’s curriculum emphasizes both technical training and the therapeutic aspects of music.
Music has traditionally been acknowledged as a healing tool. It offers emotional, psychological, and even physical benefits, and educators aim to cultivate this understanding in their students.
During the recital, students performed original compositions and covers, using their time onstage to share messages of hope and perseverance. Performances drew applause for their energy and sincerity, with some students highlighting personal struggles and growth through their musical journeys.

RMA Studio Academy also announced two upcoming events for 2025: a second recital, “Winner Takes It All,” on Aug. 9, and a year-end concert, “That’s Amore,” scheduled for Nov. 9.
Academy staff said both events will continue to highlight the role of music in community building and personal development.
