Precious of Malaysia Fashion Week 2025 is now scouting talents to represent the Philippines—regional voices, national pride, global impact.

Aspiring Filipino designers, this could be your moment.
Set to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia this mid-August 2025 (exact dates to be announced), the Precious of Malaysia International Cultural Fashion Week is now opening its doors to Filipino designers eager to represent the country on Asia’s most culturally significant runway.

The event is open to fashion creatives from all over the Philippines—Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—who are ready to present collections that celebrate their heritage with originality and craftsmanship.

Applications are now open, and this call marks a rare opportunity for designers to share their stories on an international platform rooted in identity, artistry, and cultural pride.

A Cultural Fashion Week Unlike Any Other
Unlike trend-centric fashion weeks, Precious of Malaysia is rooted in storytelling and cultural pride. Designers are challenged to go beyond the aesthetic—to craft pieces that reflect the heart of their identity. Fabrics, silhouettes, and symbols are drawn from history, heritage, and homeland.

The event has become a platform for emerging and established Asian designers to celebrate where they come from while sharing their artistry with an international audience.

The Philippines Made a Stunning Debut in 2024
In 2024, the Philippines joined for the first time—and left a powerful impression.

Led by National Director Dong Omaga-Diaz, the Philippine team showcased two outstanding regional designers:

  • Klevin Bartolaba from Butuan City, who won the Most Talented Designer Award, and

  • Ryan Salazar Lopez from Aklan, who was awarded Best Traditional Designer.

These honors not only celebrated personal triumphs but also spotlighted the extraordinary design talent found across the country’s regions.
