Making beautiful marble swirls is fun. The swirls also look beautiful in the loaf. And who, I say, can resist having a vanilla cake and a chocolate cake in one slice?

INGREDIENTS:
Set A:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Set B:
1/2 cup Golden Fiesta Palm Oil
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2 whole eggs
3/4 cup evaporated milk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 Tbsp. vanilla extract

Set C:
1/3 cup batter mixture
3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
2 Tbsp. full cream milk

PROCEDURE:
A. Sift the Set A ingredients into a bowl and mix everything.

B. In a bowl, combine the Set B ingredients and mix until frothy, and  sugar is dissolved. Add the Set A dry mixture, and fold in until just combined. Pour into a greased loaf pan, but leave around one-third of the batter in the bowl to prepare the chocolate-flavored batter.

C. Add the cocoa and milk in the mixing bowl with the remaining batter and mix until blended, then drizzle over the vanilla-flavored batter in the loaf pan. Using a stick or a small spatula, swirl around the chocolate mixture to create a marble effect, then bake. To check doneness, insert a toothpick to check if it comes out clean.
