From Oct. 9 to 19, the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands will transform into a magical Wonderland as Cirque Alicereimagines Lewis Carroll’s classic tale with breathtaking twists and gravity-defying feats. From the creators of Cirque du Soleil’s Mad Apple and the Broadway hit The Illusionists, Cirque Alice will make its Asia premiere in Singapore, presented by Base Entertainment Asia.

Base Entertainment previously worked with TML Enterprises and Painter Productions on successful shows in Singapore, including Le Noir, The Illusionists and Circus 1903.
Created by Tim Lawson (TML Enterprises) and Simon Painter (Painter Productions), Cirque Alice will feature an awe-inspiring set and on-stage seating in addition to the standard theater layout. The immersive experience places audiences at the heart of the action, accompanied by a vibrant soundtrack featuring contemporary renditions of beloved classical hits.
Lawson and Painter aim to create a unique circus show that celebrates one of the most recognizable fantasy worlds of all time. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland remains a “curiouser and curiouser” source of inspiration for all ages.

Set against a newly arranged soundtrack of contemporary takes on classical hits, the show will feature a world-class lineup of acrobats, mesmerizing aerialists, mind-bending contortionists, exquisite puppetry, dynamic dancers, musical guests and comedic performers.
The cast will be announced in the coming months. Painter said audiences could expect “some of the very best acrobatic, music, dance and magic talent ever presented in Singapore in any circus show. We cannot wait to share these truly unbelievable acts with audiences in Asia.”
The show runs 2 hours and 15 minutes, including intermission.
